Brazilian Blue tarantula, boy are they blue, these go from a brown sling to a bright vibrant royal blue, eventually into a deep navy blue just prior to molting. Brazilian blues tend to be a bit more on the flighty side and are not afraid to kick hairs to get you to leave them alone. These are a monotypic species (only one species identified in the genus) making them a cool collector's species.
