Lugarti Premium Millipede and Isopod Substrate

*Taken from the sites description* Lugarti’s Premium Millipede & Isopod Substrate is a special blend of sphagnum peat moss, organic compost, oak leaf litter, milled sphagnum moss, aged wood, extremely fine sand and clay. It is specifically formulated to maintain proper burrowing conditions, provide a high nutritional value and can be used as the primary source of food.

This is another fantastic product we stand by, this product has gotten our most stubborn species of millipedes to breed, after keeping Archispirostreptus gigas (African Giant Millipedes) on a sub-par substrate with organic top soil mixed in, they were not pairing, let alone laying eggs. I kept to the routine of their pairing season, but nothing, no pairing or burrowing. I decided to make the switch and do their tub entirely of Lugarti's Premium Millipede and Isopod substrate. Following this their was a full change in movement, made burrows to the bottom of the tub, and most importantly...Pairing!! This was an exciting thing to see. This was also our experience keeping Desmoxytes Plantana (Pink Dragon Millipedes) and Narceus Americanus (Giant Pink foot Millipedes) aswell. We can't Recommend it enough.
