Giant Colombian Red Leg Tarantula, a large, heavy bodied, fossorial tarantula that comes from South America, can be quite flightly but usually not defensive, this species is an extreme hair kicker, often using two legs at one time to fling hairs. One unique feature of these tarantulas other than their urtication method is that around adulthood females get very stock back legs, often 2-2.5x as thick as the rest of their legs, great for pushing lots of weight.
