Scolopendra Galapagoensis 'Orange'

Giant Galapagos Island Centipede or Darwin's Goliath Centipede. Very large centipede species with a fiery orange coloration, not often available. These will go quickly. This is not a animal for the faint of heart or first time keepers of this type of animal. These are fast, large and often difficult to deal with. We do not recommend enclosures such as soft plastic, glass with silicon adhered sides, or tubs shorter than they are long. We strongly recommend a locking solid piece enclosure or tub that is impenetrable to this arthropod. We are not attempted to scare anyone out of a sale but rather ensure they know what they are getting themselves into. Aside from the obvious, these are wonderful animals to keep and extremely interesting to observe.
