Welcome to Plumb's Exotics LLC
We are breeders and keepers of exotic animals based out of Southeastern Michigan. We started this business in 2024 with two goals in mind; delivering the highest quality and best selection we could for our local customers. That has since grown into a demand for our spoods in other states, which brings you here! We have 10+ years of experience in keeping exotics such as tarantulas, scorpions, centipedes, millipedes, isopods, and reptiles collectively. We hope to share our passion and knowledge alike to everyone we can.

Terms of Service
It is important to us we bring you the best standard of service, patience and professionalism. Its our top priority that you, the customer is 100% satisfied with your purchase. Communication is key, WE LOVE QUESTIONS, we always want to hear your questions, concerns, and comments, so please reach out!
This is how we plan to bring you quality over quantity.
1. Shipping Policy: We only ship between the temperatures of 32°F-85°F, this is simply for the safety of the animal. If shipping is not available on the day selected due to temperature, we will either hold until next available shipping day, or issue a full refund. We only ship FedEx overnight priority shipping in live animal boxing for live animals. IF UPS IS SELECTED FOR SHIPPING ON LIVE ANIMALS WE WILL CANCEL THE ORDER AND NOTIFY YOU. This does not include our dry goods. Priority overnight shipping does not mean your order will be shipped the night the order is placed, it will ship out the next agreed upon available shipping day. We will accommodate as best as possible for both you and the animals. We ship ONLY on Mondays and Tuesdays so best to get orders in earlier rather than later. We will not ship a package without first getting confirmation from you that you will be able to collect the package after it is delivered. A tracking number will be provided once the order is confirmed via email from FedEx or us, no later the day of the shipment. If for whatever reason you cannot collect the animals at the agreed upon time, a refund will not be issued back as we will have to have the animals shipped back, which causes a great deal of stress on them. Sometimes delays happen due to weather or if a tarantula appears to be molting or "fresh" out of a molt. You will be notified via Facebook messenger or Email From us or FedEx. You will still be expected to receive delivery of your package even if there is a delay up to 2 days. A signature will ALWAYS be required, we will NOT ship packages to home addresses, we only ship to FedEx facilities for pickup. Remember to bring a Valid ID, if you do not have a valid ID, you will need someone to accommodate and we will have to add their name to the label, FedEx charges us $15 for this process, which will be passed onto you. It is best to understand that a valid ID is required to receive the package, so make sure to put the correct person on the shipping label.
2.Unclaimed or Unable To Be Delivered: If your order is not picked up at the FedEx facilities within 24 hours of delivery, and no effort was made to notify us. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SHIP THE PACKAGE BACK WITHOUT REFUND. If there is any reason you cannot pick up your package, communicate with us. we will not allow animals to sit at a FedEx facility unclaimed for their own wellbeing.
3.LAG (Live Arrival Guarantee): We offer a Live arrival guarantee of the animal, and a heath guarantee for 20 days past the day of arrival. We take pride and have confidence in our care and the health of our animals, we want you to feel the same. The 20 day guarantee will ONLY be acknowledged if the customer can provide photos of the animal, enclosure, and anything else required related to the care of said animal if a claim is made. IF REQUESTED "PROOF" CANNOT BE SHOWN, WE WILL NOT HONOR THE GUARANTEE. Following, the guarantee will be void if the package is not picked up within 8 hours of the arrival time at the FedEx Facility. If a customer is entitled to and requires a replacement or store credit, it is to be used within 30 days of the reported death/issue.
4.The Issue of Carrier Delays: If FedEx causes your package to arrive on a day other than the agreed upon date we will still guarantee the full order. We have faith in the FedEx shipping system as we have used it for awhile however mistakes and issues happen.
5. Minimum Order Amount Requirement: We require all orders to be at least $75.00 for us to ship them (this does not include the cost of shipping), When shipping animals we take on more costs than a local delivery, therefore we must make a minimum to keep it "worth" it for both parties.
6. Check-Ins and Rehoming: If an animal is purchased from us and you the customer cannot or do not want to care for them anymore, let us know! We more than likely will be interested in getting our critter(s) back. Contact us with pictures and explanation as to why they need to be rehomed. *WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT WE WILL PAY YOU BACK IN "FULL" FOR THE ANIMAL, ESPECIALLY IF THERE IS POOR HUSBANDRY INVOLVED.*
We feel communication is imperative, when an animal is sold it is normal for us to wonder how it is being kept or how the animal's health is later down the road. With this being said, Chelsey and I (Austin) may occasionally check-in or request photos or updates on the animal just out of curiosity and routine, or if suspected poor husbandry is at hand. We thank you for being understanding of this.
